Abdullah Qaderi

Registered Physiotherapist MScPT and Hon. BSc (Kin)
Abdullah is a graduate from the Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto. Prior to that, he completed his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at York University.
Abdullah decided to pursue a career in physiotherapy after injuring himself a few times in University and learning how important maintaining your body in optimal condition is. He learned the importance of his rehabilitation in getting back to the activities he loves and keeping him active!
He has many years of personal training experience with clients of all ages and abilities, and his knowledge combined with a desire to help others is what drives him to continue learning.
Abdullah is committed to continuing to expand his skill set through post-graduate courses in order to best help his clients. Currently, he is certified in acupuncture (including dry needling), soft tissue release, and is pursuing his advanced manual therapy certification from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Abdullah strongly believes in patient education as an essential tool in empowering patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation. He emphasizes a measured approach to recovery which incorporates lots of hands-on manual therapy techniques, and when appropriate therapeutic exercise progressions to challenge the body to reach its optimal state. His goal is not solely to treat a patient’s symptoms, but rather to find the root cause of these symptoms in order to best treat the patient and to ensure they are well-equipped to minimize their symptoms in the future.
Outside of work Abdullah enjoys playing basketball, exercising, travelling, and cooking. He is a fan of the Toronto Raptors. He is also fan of premier league soccer and cheers for Liverpool FC (but we will forgive him for that).
Abdullah is excited to be a part of North Oakville’s team at Palermo Plus Physiotherapy and Wellness Centre.
