The Grand Opening of the Oakville building our clinic is located in, Palermo Professional Centre, took place last Friday September 26, 2014. It was a great day and a fun way to introduce ourselves to other tenants as well as the community. We would like to thank our families and friends who were able to make it out to support Palermo Physiotherapy and Wellness Centre as well as the building. It’s a convenient location to access from Oakville (Glen Abbey, West Oak), Milton and areas of Burlington such as Millcroft, the Orchard and Alton Village. It was nice to meet members of the community and show them our clinic that offers Physio, Massage and Foot Care (Chiropody), as well as meet the Mayor of Oakville, Rob Burton. There was a delicious spread put out by Tria Cafe and Bakery (Suite 110) that went so quickly I didn’t manage to take a photo of the filled table. We’re looking forward to popping down for lunch and coffee once the Cafe opens fully! The Palermo Guardian Pharmacy supplied some gift bags to their visitors with some Atoma brand items they carry as well as Hallmark note cards. The second floor is still
progressing with carpet being laid this past week. The Orthodontist, Dr. Rahimi will be opening soon followed by Palermo Village Dental (late November/ early December) who are located just a across the hall. Chorus Speech and Hearing Centre is now open and accepting new patients for your hearing and speech language needs. Two of our Clinicians Brittney Wirtz, the Chiropodist and Lisa Clifford, the Physiotherapist were able to meet Mayor Burton as well as get a picture with him behind the ribbon. He was very friendly and accommodated everyone trying to get a photo with him. It is exciting to be a part of this building as it fills!
