Our Oakville Physio, Massage, and Foot Care Clinic will be closed this Monday February 16th for Family Day 2015. While we’re inclined to want to hibernate at this time of the year there are many fun activities to do with friends and family in Oakville and the Halton Region. Over this family day (extra) long weekend take this time to unplug and spend some quality time with your loved ones.
- Go Skating – There are some free indoor skating sessions through the city partnered with Tim Hortons, but why not take advantage of some sunshine and fresh air. Most City’s including Oakville and Burlington have free outdoor skating rinks. Remember to bring your helmet!
- Try Snowshoeing – Halton Hills Conservation offers snowshoeing trails and in some cases rentals if you don’t have your own. It’s a fun activity to try – make sure to bundle up!
- Go to the Library – Go to your local library and pick out some books, magazines or even rent a movie to watch later. Looking through the DVD selection brings us back to the days of movie rentals and searching through the store to find a video to watch.
- Play a Board Game – There’s nothing like a board game or even a card game of Go Fish. Board games can be epic like the Settler’s of Catan or Risk or quick and fun like a solid game of hungry hippos or Jenga.
